Now is the time to join Duke University Health System’s Clinical Laboratories.  Our College of American Pathologist (CAP) accredited, CLIA certified, state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary labs span three hospitals – Duke University Hospital, Duke Regional Hospital and Duke Raleigh Hospital.

This includes over 40 different specialized work centers, a large point of care testing program, and phlebotomy across all of Duke Health.  We employ a wide range of practices; from high-throughput, highly automated testing in our hematology, chemistry, and immunoassay laboratories, to specialized mass spectrometry and molecular-based testing in many of our subspecialty labs, to direct patient care by our transfusion services physicians. Last year, our 850 clinical laboratorians delivered over 10 million results to support the care of the many hundreds of thousands of patients who came to Duke.

A great place to live and work.
In addition to great salary and benefits including relocation assistance, tuition reimbursement, and loan forgiveness, U.S. News & World Report named Raleigh/Durham a Top 10 Best Place to Live.  Here you’ll find young, friendly, diverse, and educated people who enjoy dining out in local restaurants and gathering over craft beers.  The family-friendly Triangle (Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill) also has an abundance of beautiful green spaces and a growing art and music scene.
