NEURO REGISTERED NURSES

You may be asking yourself – why be a Neuro Nurse?  In an incredibly fast-paced environment, many patients you treat you would not see as a Med/Surg nurse. Some of the injuries take time to see the progress, but that is one of the things that will give you the most satisfaction.  Your sense of assessment skills will be heightened as you pick up the subtle changes in your patients and that is incredibly rewarding.

ICU REGISTERED NURSES

Working with cutting-edge technology and an interdisciplinary team including APPs and Intensivists, you will lead rounds engaging the staff on the unit to be involved in different aspects of not just patient care but creating a healthy work environment through healthy activities.  The nurse-to-patient ratio in ICU is 1:1 or 1:2.

STEPDOWN REGISTERED NURSES

In the stepdown unit, the nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3-4, but it could be up to 6; the average length of stay is 5-6 days, but patients discharge 10-15 and we admit the same number back.  You will work with stroke, brain tumor, spine, and epilepsy patients.

RESPIRATORY THERAPISTS
